Description

The HV-25 is a compact, top-loading autoclave from Amerex Instruments, offering a 25-liter chamber capacity for lower-volume sterilization tasks. It incorporates programmable controls for flexible operation, including a delayed start function schedulable up to one week ahead. The unit includes specialized cycles for agar work: one for sterilization with liquid temperature hold and another for rapid melting. Safety mechanisms comprise a dual-interlock lid system, automatic air purge, and a sensor that ensures proper door closure before cycle initiation. Sterilization timing is contingent on the load reaching the target temperature, which can be monitored with an accessory floating sensor. The operating temperature range is 105°C to 126°C. The internal chamber dimensions are 9.4 inches in diameter by 21.6 inches in depth, housed in a unit measuring 19 x 18 x 37.4 inches (WxDxH).
