Description

Amerex Instruments' HV-110 is a programmable, top-loading autoclave with a 110-liter chamber volume, designed for reliable steam sterilization. It features a comprehensive microprocessor control system with several user-focused functions. Key operational features include programmable cycle start-up to one week in advance, an agar-specific sterilization mode that maintains liquid temperature post-cycle, and a separate agar melting function for faster preparation. Safety is addressed through a dual-sensing lid interlock that prevents opening under pressure or high temperature, automatic air purging to manage pressure, and a door-closure sensor. The sterilization timer activates only after the load, monitored by an optional floating sensor, reaches the setpoint between 105°C and 135°C. The interface provides real-time cycle status, and a memory backup preserves settings during power loss. The chamber interior measures 16.5 inches in diameter by 31.3 inches in height, within a footprint of 26 x 25.6 x 46.5 inches (WxDxH). This model does not include a drying function.
