Description
The HT4000A Sample Prep Workstation by HTA srl. is a modular system for automating complex sample preparation workflows prior to analysis. It performs a wide array of tasks including liquid handling, purification, and filtration. Supported techniques encompass Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), Micro Extraction by Packed Sorbent (MEPS), liquid/liquid extraction, and filtration using devices like syringe filters or Whatman® Mini-UniPrep® vials. The workstation also integrates peripheral functions such as vortex mixing, automatic vial capping/decapping, and weighing. Its design is based on a core liquid handling module, with additional functional modules added as required, allowing the instrument to be tailored to specific laboratory procedures. The system handles various sample containers, including vials from 2 mL to 40 mL, test tubes, tube blocks, microplates, and Vacutainers. It is controlled by HTAPREP software, which uses a drag-and-drop interface for method development. The unit's dimensions are 310 mm in width, 690 mm in depth, and 705 mm in height.
