Description

The HS-5000 Workstation from Airfiltronix (a division of Glas-Col, LLC) is a portable, self-contained containment hood that integrates a filtered-air workspace with a work surface. It is designed to provide operator and environmental protection during procedures involving particulates or low-toxicity vapors. Airflow is managed by a rear-mounted baffle that generates a horizontal laminar flow pattern across the work area, aiming to minimize turbulence. The main enclosure features a large, angled clear polycarbonate shield that offers full visibility and easy access to the interior workspace. The front door is available in two configurations: a solid polycarbonate hinged panel or a version with a cutout to accommodate a microscope. The unit's interior working dimensions are 28 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 15 inches high. Its overall exterior dimensions are 30 inches wide by 23.5 inches deep by 35 inches high.
