Description

The HRH-110 is a front-loading laboratory autoclave with a chamber volume of 110 liters, manufactured by Amerex Instruments, Inc. It features fully automatic operation for complete sterilization cycles, with or without an integrated drying phase. The unit includes a one-touch door closing lever for secure and straightforward access. A pre-vacuum cycle is employed when sterilizing solid materials like glassware and pipette tips; this process removes air from the chamber to eliminate cold spots and improve sterilization efficiency. Drying is accomplished through a combination of heat and vacuum, which enhances drying performance and can reduce overall cycle time. A dedicated drying mode is also available for situations requiring drying without repeating the sterilization process. Safety features include a bacteria filter to minimize re-contamination, a lid safety interlock that prevents opening during a cycle or when chamber pressure or temperature is elevated, and a door-closure sensor that ensures the cycle only initiates when the door is properly sealed. A process display indicates the selected program and current cycle status. The chamber interior measures 16.5 inches in diameter by 31.3 inches in depth. The exterior dimensions are 27.2 inches wide by 45.3 inches deep by 54.5 inches high. The temperature range is programmable from 105°C to 135°C.
