Description

The BT Lab Systems Horizontal Laminar Flow Hood provides a controlled, particle-free workspace for sensitive procedures. As indicated by its name, this model features a horizontal airflow pattern, where HEPA-filtered air is blown directly across the work surface from the back of the cabinet toward the user. The internal work area dimensions are 1220 mm in width, 490 mm in depth, and 574 mm in height, offering a substantial space for equipment and samples. This type of hood is commonly used for applications where product protection is the primary concern, such as electronics assembly, media plate preparation, or non-hazardous sample handling. It is not designed for work with biohazardous materials, as the airflow is directed at the operator.
