Description

The PCE-MA 60XT from PCE Americas Inc. is a moisture analyzer balance, also referred to as a moisture scale, for determining the moisture content in various materials. It has a weighing capacity of 60 grams with a readability of 0.1 milligrams (0.0001 grams), which corresponds to a moisture resolution of 0.001%. The unit employs a halogen heating element to dry samples at temperatures up to 160°C. Operation involves setting the desired drying temperature, placing the sample on the pan, and initiating the automated drying cycle. The device displays results including moisture content percentage, dry content percentage, ATRO percentage, and weight. A live graph tracks the moisture loss during the process. For convenience, the analyzer includes a product database for storing drying parameters and features an RS232/USB interface for data transfer, with the capability to save information directly to a USB storage device.
