Description

The HG-50 is a top-loading, 50-liter autoclave from Amerex Instruments designed for laboratory sterilization. It operates within a temperature range of 105°C to 135°C. The chamber has an actual volume of 60 liters and a working volume of 50 liters, with interior dimensions of 14.3 inches in diameter by 18.2 inches in height. The unit exterior measures 19.7 x 27.2 x 35.0 inches. Key operational features include push-button automatic lid opening and closing, replacing traditional foot pedals. A safety interlock prevents lid opening when the chamber is pressurized or at high temperature. The autoclave includes a programmable auto-start function with a delay of up to 99 hours. A 15-liter steam condenser contains exhaust, and a built-in cooling fan reduces post-cycle cooling time. Users can select the steam venting rate and program the air removal time prior to sterilization.
