HemataStat II™: Fast and efficient hematocrit sampling

Description

The HemataStat II™ from EKF Diagnostics is a microhematocrit centrifuge and reader integrated into one portable device. It can process up to six venous or capillary blood samples simultaneously in a single 60-second spin cycle. After centrifugation, a built-in hematocrit reader provides a quantitative result with an accuracy of +/- 0.5%. The system uses specific heparinized capillary tubes, available in different diameters for varying sample volumes. Featuring a multilingual display, quiet operation, and an optional battery pack, it is suited for point-of-care testing in clinics, hospitals, veterinary practices, and mobile outreach programs.
