Description
Glas-Col's Heated Systems, marketed under the ZipVap® line, are nitrogen evaporators used for concentrating liquid samples. These instruments employ heat and a stream of nitrogen gas to gently remove solvents or water from samples contained in vials or bottles. They are utilized in sample preparation for various analytical techniques, including chromatography, biotech assays, environmental testing, and human genome research. The systems are available in multiple configurations supporting different sample capacities, with positional manifolds for 24, 48, or 384 samples. Individual needle flow rates are adjustable from 1 to 100 mL. The evaporation temperature can be controlled up to 100°C. These compact units are designed to process samples ranging from small 12 mm autosampler vials up to 62 mm diameter bottles.
