Description

As the largest model in the GYROMAX 800-Series, the catalog number 818 is a heavy-duty open-air platform shaker. It features a substantial platform measuring 965 mm wide by 610 mm deep (approximately 38" x 24"), providing significant capacity for flasks or vessels. Operation is managed by a microprocessor that ensures precise speed control, maintaining the setpoint within ±1 RPM across its 40 to 400 rpm range. A key design feature is the triple-eccentric drive system, which is dynamically balanced with counterweights. This mechanism provides stable and smooth shaking without requiring manual adjustment for different loads, contributing to quiet operation. The unit includes a programmable timer with two modes: up to 99 hours and 59 minutes, or up to 9999 minutes. The timer can be disabled for continuous operation, and it features a memory function to resume timing after a power interruption.
