Guardian NG Infrared CO2/CH4 Gas Monitor

Description

Manufactured by Edinburgh Sensors Ltd, the Guardian NG is an infrared gas monitor capable of measuring either carbon dioxide or methane concentrations. For CO2, the instrument covers a range from 0 to 3000 ppm, while for CH4 it can measure from 0 to 100 percent by volume. The wall-mounted unit employs a proprietary infrared sensor and features pressure compensation to provide volume percentage readouts across varying pressure conditions. It is housed in an IP54-rated enclosure for protection against dust and water ingress. Standard features include an LCD display with on-screen menus for configuration, user-defined alarm setpoints with password protection, and an RS232 interface for data communication. An optional Ethernet interface is available. The integrated sampling system can draw gas from points located up to 30 meters away. The design emphasizes long-term stability and minimal maintenance requirements.
