GeoMx™ Digital Spatial Profiler

Manufacturer: Bruker Spatial Biology

Description

The GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler is a platform for spatial multiomics analysis, enabling researchers to profile protein or RNA expression within the morphological context of intact tissue sections. The method involves staining tissue slides with barcoded antibodies or RNA probes, followed by high-resolution imaging. Users can then select specific regions of interest (ROIs) based on morphology for downstream analysis. The system utilizes ultraviolet light to release oligonucleotide barcodes from these selected ROIs, which are subsequently collected and quantified using next-generation sequencing or digital counting technologies. This approach allows for high-plex, discovery-scale profiling across whole tissue sections, linking molecular data directly to tissue architecture. It is designed to facilitate research in areas such as oncology, immunology, and neuroscience by providing spatially resolved biomolecular information.
