Description

This benchtop instrument automates the preparation of biological samples, specifically designed to process up to eight tissue samples in parallel. It features eight integrated heating units, allowing for temperature-controlled operation from +4 °C to +35 °C. Without the heaters active, the unit maintains a range of +4 °C to +30 °C. The system utilizes predefined, optimized programs to standardize the generation of viable single-cell suspensions, single-nucleus suspensions, or homogenates from tissue masses ranging from 20 to 4000 mg. For workflows requiring cooling, optional passive cooling modules can maintain sample temperatures between 2–8°C. The dissociator is part of a broader platform that uses specialized, single-use consumables like C Tubes and M Tubes, which facilitate processing within a closed, sterile system to minimize contamination risk. The instrument's dimensions are 285 mm wide, 495 mm deep, and 185 mm high.
