The Shimadzu GCMS-TQ8050 NX is a triple quadrupole GC-MS/MS system engineered for high-sensitivity quantitative analysis, capable of reaching femtogram-level detection. The system utilizes an Advance Scanning Speed Protocol (AASP) to achieve a scan speed of 20,000 u/sec across its full mass range, which extends from m/z 10 to 1090. An ecology mode function helps lower operational costs by managing power and carrier gas consumption. The system is controlled via GCMSsolution software and includes LabSolutions Insight for data review, which aims to accelerate quantitative analysis and improve productivity in applications such as pesticide screening, forensic toxicology, and environmental pollutant analysis.
