GC 2400 Platform

Description

The GC 2400 Platform is a gas chromatography system designed to address laboratory needs for productivity and operational efficiency. It features a detachable touchscreen interface that provides real-time status notifications on sample runs, allowing for remote monitoring from within or outside the laboratory. The system includes programmable LED indicators and audible alerts for immediate assessment of instrument status. It is built with application flexibility in mind, offering user-replaceable detectors. Available detectors include a Flame Ionization Detector (FID), an Electron Capture Detector (ECD), and a Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer (MS 2400 SQ). The platform is compatible with the SimplicityChrom Chromatography Data System (CDS) software, which integrates instrument control, data acquisition, and processing into a single workflow. A hydrogen sensor is incorporated for operational safety. The system supports the PerkinElmer AS 2400 Liquid Sampler for automated sample introduction. Its applications include environmental contaminant analysis, pharmaceutical residual solvent testing, and food and beverage safety and quality control.
