Gauss Meter / Tesla Meter PCE-MFM 3800
Manufacturer: PCE Americas Inc.
SKU: PCE-MFM 3800
Description
The PCE-MFM 3800 is a gauss meter and tesla meter that measures magnetic flux density and temperature. It utilizes a transversal sensor, meaning it detects the magnetic field perpendicular to the sensor's orientation. The device measures both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) magnetic fields, with a measurement range from 0 to 3500 mT and a resolution of 0.001 mT. For AC fields, it can also display the frequency within a 10 to 50 Hz range. Measurement accuracy is up to ±0.5% of the reading for DC fields and ±1% for AC fields at 50 Hz. The integrated temperature sensor has a range of 0°C to 80°C (32°F to 176°F) with an accuracy of ±0.4°C. It features automatic detection of AC/DC fields and offers automatic or manual range selection. Data is shown on a 2.8-inch TFT color display, and the device includes an internal 32 GB SD card for storing measurement points. It is powered by a LiPo battery or via USB connection. This instrument is used in applications such as industrial quality assurance, shielding effectiveness tests, material sorting, and laboratory research involving magnetic fields.
