Description

The LM-MP810T is a compact, handheld gauss meter featuring a transversal measuring probe. This probe type measures the magnetic field strength perpendicular to its axis, which is advantageous for applications involving air gaps, cavities, or surface inspections for crack detection. The device measures both direct (DC) and alternating (AC) magnetic fields and can capture maximum values from pulsed fields. It offers multiple measurement ranges and supports units including A/cm, Gauss/Oersted, and milliTesla. The meter is designed to detect subtle variations in field strength, operating from levels slightly above the Earth's magnetic field up to higher peak fields, and can identify residual magnetism. It provides reproducible results for magnetic field testing. The instrument includes a wireless interface for use with the Lima Connect app on Windows, iOS, and Android devices, enabling project management, photo annotation, and data analysis. A calibration standard is offered to periodically check the device's measurement accuracy.
