Description

The LM-MP810A is a handheld gauss meter designed for measuring magnetic field strength. It is equipped with an axial probe, which measures the magnetic field along the axis of the probe tip. This probe has a fixed measurement distance of 2.0 mm from its surface, making it suitable for taking precise readings on flat surfaces or within small openings. The device can measure a wide range of magnetic fields, from values just above the Earth's natural magnetic field up to several thousand amperes per centimeter. It is capable of detecting residual magnetism and remanence in materials. Measurements can be displayed in units of A/cm, Gauss, or Tesla. The instrument features a wireless interface for connection to mobile devices and computers via the dedicated Lima Connect application. This software allows users to organize measurement projects, tag specific points on photographs, and perform statistical or graphical analysis of results, which is useful for quality control and research applications. A calibration standard, or reference magnet, is available to verify the accuracy of the device.
