Description

The LM-MP80 is a compact, battery-operated Gauss/Tesla meter specialized for determining residual magnetism on ferromagnetic metal parts. It operates on the principle of magnetic induction using a digital external probe with an 8 mm measuring tip. The probe digitizes the measurement signal internally, and the device features a fixed measuring distance of 2.0 mm from the target surface to ensure repeatable results. A key function is its scan capability, which can automatically determine minimum, maximum, and average field values over a scanned area. The unit includes an internal data memory and an OLED display for on-device data review. For expanded functionality and data management, it offers wireless connectivity compatible with dedicated apps for Windows, iOS, and Android. A USB port provides power and enables SCPI remote control. The device is housed in a robust metal casing, making it suitable for use in industrial environments. It is supplied with a calibration standard (5 A/cm) and a transport case, and is commonly used for quality assurance, demagnetization checks, and material testing.
