Description

The LM-MP1000-Z2 is a high-precision digital instrument for measuring magnetic field strength and flux density. It utilizes an external digital axial probe, which houses integrated electronics to digitize and linearize signals from a Hall sensor. This design enables accurate, interference-free readings across a wide range of magnetic conditions, from weak geomagnetic fields to strong fields up to 20,000 A/cm. The device measures DC fields, AC fields with frequencies up to 20 kHz (True-RMS), and pulsed fields with durations as brief as 0.1 milliseconds. A scan function is included for detailed field line analysis. Operation is facilitated by a 320 x 480 pixel LCD touchscreen. For data transfer and remote control, the unit offers wireless connectivity for Windows, iOS, and Android platforms, as well as USB and SCPI interfaces. The probe cable is designed to be pluggable at both ends, allowing for easy replacement to maintain operational reliability. Typical applications include residual magnetism testing, stray field detection, and magnetic flux analysis in industrial and research settings.
