The Airfiltronix HS5000S is a portable, self-contained fume hood workstation designed for source containment in laboratory settings. Its compact exterior measures 30 inches in width, 23.5 inches in depth, and 35 inches in height, enclosing an interior workspace of 28 by 20 by 15 inches. A clear, angled polycarbonate shield provides visibility and access to the work area. Airflow within the chamber is managed by a rear baffle system that promotes a horizontal laminar flow pattern to reduce turbulence. The unit's versatility is enhanced by its compatibility with a range of filter types, such as charcoal, four-stage Dacron, aluminum, and HEPA filters, allowing it to effectively capture chemical vapors, odors, and particulate matter.
