The Airfiltronix HS3000A1 is a single-hose, portable fume extraction unit designed for localized containment of fumes and dust. As a member of the Scavenger Series, it offers a space-saving alternative to conventional fume hoods. The system includes one five-foot extraction hose and a tapered collector scoop to direct airflow. It can be fitted with various filter types to address different contamination challenges: charcoal filters adsorb chemical vapors and odors, while four-stage Dacron, aluminum, or HEPA filters capture fine particulates and dust. The extractor cabinet has interior dimensions of 23.5 inches in width, 12.5 inches in depth, and 16 inches in height. It is portable and can be used as a benchtop device or mounted on a wall. This model is applicable for procedures such as soldering, small-part manufacturing, and laboratory work where direct source capture is needed to protect personnel from inhalation hazards.
