Labconco's FreeZone Triad Freeze Dryer is a multifunctional benchtop unit designed to handle flask, bulk, and stoppering vial lyophilization formats within a single system. It incorporates temperature-controlled shelves with an operational range from -55°C to +50°C and a pre-freezing capability down to -75°C. An integrated pneumatic stoppering mechanism operates without an external compressed gas source. The system uses two 1/3 hp HCFC/CFC-free compressors to cool its upright stainless steel collector coil to -84°C, a temperature appropriate for aqueous samples or dilute acetonitrile; the coil has a 2.5-liter ice capacity. With dimensions of 28.3 x 29.5 x 27.7 inches (WxDxH), the unit requires a 230-volt power supply. This configuration provides versatile freeze-drying capabilities in a consolidated footprint.
