FreeZone 6L -50 w/ Stoppering Tray Dryer

Description

This console-style freeze dryer from Labconco, the FreeZone 6L -50 with Stoppering Tray Dryer, is built for processing larger sample volumes. The system integrates a primary freeze-drying chamber with a separate stoppering tray dryer, allowing vials to be sealed under vacuum after the lyophilization cycle is complete. The main chamber contains a 6-liter ice capacity stainless steel collector coil, cooled to -50°C by an HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system optimized for aqueous samples. The stoppering tray dryer component includes three temperature-controlled shelves, each measuring 16.5 by 12 inches, which utilize a dedicated refrigeration system and a 1000-watt heater. The entire console measures 32.4 x 29.6 x 63.7 inches (WxDxH) and operates on 115 volts. A vacuum pump is necessary for operation and is sold separately.
