Description

The Labconco FreeZone 12 Liter Console Freeze Dryer is a floor-standing lyophilization system for processing moderate to large sample volumes. Designed as a console, it includes a front viewing window and internal space to accommodate a vacuum pump. The unit features a stainless steel condenser coil with a 12-liter ice capacity. A single 1 hp refrigeration system, which does not use HCFC or CFC refrigerants, cools the coil to a minimum temperature of -84°C, suitable for freeze-drying aqueous samples. The chamber is compatible with optional large tray dryers, such as stoppering tray dryers, though the pump and tray accessory are sold separately. The system dimensions are 31.8 inches wide, 29.6 inches deep, and 36.6 inches high, and it operates on 115-volt power.
