Description
Agilent Fragment Analyzer Systems perform automated nucleic acid quality control using parallel capillary electrophoresis. These instruments are designed to process from 12 to 96 samples in a single run, accommodating varying throughput requirements. They are used for analyzing next-generation sequencing libraries, PCR fragments, cell-free DNA, genomic DNA, total RNA, and in vitro transcribed mRNA. The system operates on 100 to 240 VAC power and measures 36 cm in width, 51 cm in depth, and 61 cm in height. A configurable feature is the selection of capillary arrays of different lengths, allowing users to optimize for either analysis speed or high resolution. The system can resolve fragments differing by as little as 3 base pairs for sequences under 300 base pairs. For workflow adaptability, the instrument can be loaded with two distinct gel matrices, enabling switching between assay kits without requiring a full system reconfiguration.
