FluidX™ Storage Tubes from Azenta Life Sciences are sample tubes engineered for secure management and tracking in biobanking and compound storage. To ensure compatibility with automated capping and handling systems, the tubes are offered with dual-coded, 2D-coded, or tri-coded options. An external thread design provides an effective seal and allows for a higher working volume. Instead of traditional O-ring seals, the tubes utilize internal thread caps, a feature designed to help prevent potential leaks during freezing processes. This makes them suitable for cryogenic storage environments. The tubes are intended to maintain a secure chain of custody for samples stored in biobanks, chemical repositories, and compound libraries.
