Description
FluidX septum cap mats offer a disposable sealing solution for 96-format sample tubes with internal threads. Each mat is a backing sheet that holds a full rack of 96 pierceable caps made from a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). These caps are designed to create a reliable seal for samples accessed infrequently and are suitable for a temperature range from -80°C to +110°C. The mats facilitate automated or semi-automated capping and decapping when used with compatible equipment. For visual sample organization, the internal thread caps are available in five distinct colors. Packaging options include cases containing 50 mats (4,800 caps) or 10 mats (960 caps), as well as bulk configurations. This product provides a cost-effective option for secure, occasional-access sealing in applications such as biobanking, reagent storage, and compound library management.
