Description

FluidX cryo storage boxes and racks provide organized sample housing for ultra-low temperature and cryogenic environments. They are designed to integrate with freezer systems originally configured for standard cryo boxes. Available in three grid configurations—9x9, 10x10, and 14x14—they accommodate various tube formats, including 1ml and 1.9ml tri-coded tubes, aiding in the consolidation of legacy sample collections. A key design feature is the open-bottom construction, which permits optical readers to scan 2D codes on tube bases without removing them from the rack. For enhanced inventory management, each rack can be supplied with a unique, permanently applied 1D and 2D barcode identifier, enabling simultaneous scanning of rack and tube codes. This supports rigorous sample tracking and security. These organizational tools are applicable for biobanking, cryogenic storage in cancer and molecular biology research, and managed compound libraries, optimizing storage density and access.
