FluidX 0.9ml Dual-coded Tube, 96-format, Internal Thread

Description

Designed for laboratory sample storage, this tube has a 0.9 ml capacity and is manufactured from virgin polypthalamide to withstand cryogenic conditions. Sample identification is enabled by two permanent codes laser-etched on the tube base: a 2D matrix code and a matching human-readable number. The tubes are arranged in a 96-well format for use with standard SBS racks. They are supplied in cases containing either 960 tubes or 10 racks. The tube features an internal thread design, allowing for a secure seal with appropriate screw caps or TPE septum caps. These tubes are intended for research applications including biobanking, drug discovery, and cancer research, where maintaining a verifiable chain of custody for samples is important. The design supports barcode reading while tubes are seated in racks, promoting efficiency in automated sample management environments.
