Description

This 0.5 ml tube employs a tri-code identification system to provide a robust chain of custody for valuable samples. Fabricated from virgin polypropylene, it is rated for cryogenic storage applications. The tube features an external thread design. It is marked with three permanent, corresponding identifiers: a 2D code on the base, and both a 1D linear barcode and a human-readable number on the sidewall, all applied via laser etching. The inclusion of multiple code formats accommodates different scanning equipment and manual data entry procedures, facilitating data exchange in multi-site or collaborative research environments. The tube is formatted for 96-well SBS racks, enabling efficient storage and retrieval in high-throughput settings.
