Description
The FluidX 0.3 ml tube provides a dual-coded solution for sample management in automated and manual workflows. Manufactured from virgin polypropylene, it is suitable for use in cryogenic storage conditions. This model incorporates an internal thread for attaching appropriate screw or septum caps. Sample traceability is facilitated by a pair of laser-etched, permanent identifiers: a 2D datamatrix code and a matching human-readable number, both positioned on the tube base. This placement allows the codes to be read while the tubes are seated in standard 96-well SBS racks, minimizing handling. The design aims for broad compatibility with laboratory automation equipment for tasks such as barcode reading and capping. Applications for this tube span research areas like biobanking, cancer research, drug discovery, and reagent storage. Packaging options include a bulk case of 960 tubes or a case containing 10 pre-assembled racks.
