Description

This floor-mounted fume hood from TopAir Systems is constructed from welded 8 mm polypropylene, a material chosen for its high resistance to a wide spectrum of corrosive chemicals, including acids, bases, and solvents. The design features a large front opening with horizontal sliding sash doors, providing access for bulky, tall, or heavy laboratory apparatus. Fume extraction is handled by an externally mounted blower. Standard equipment includes a 5 mm front safety glass window, 800 lux LED lighting isolated from the interior chamber, and ventilation inlets at the top and rear. Basic operation is managed via a 7-inch color touchscreen controlling lighting and outlets, with options to upgrade for face velocity monitoring (AFA) or automatic variable air volume (VAV) control. Optional accessories encompass sinks, service fixtures, and internal scaffolding. The hood is CE certified and is available in multiple widths ranging from 1200 mm to 2500 mm (approximately 47 to 98 inches), with a uniform depth of 930 mm and height of 2320 mm.
