FlexStream™ Base Module

Description

Acting as the central control unit, the FlexStream Base Module is a complete, standalone instrument for generating precise gas calibration standards. It operates by using a temperature-stabilized oven to heat a single Trace Source permeation or diffusion tube. The vapor emitted from the tube is then diluted by a precisely metered flow of dilution gas, controlled by integrated mass flow controllers, to achieve target concentrations. This base unit contains all necessary electronics, flow control, and the user interface. It can function independently to produce single-component gas mixtures. Furthermore, its design allows it to serve as the hub for a larger system. When additional auxiliary oven modules are connected, the base module coordinates their operation, enabling the simultaneous production of sophisticated, multi-component calibration gases with a high degree of configuration flexibility.
