FlexStream™ Auxiliary Permeation Oven Module (FlexPM)

Description

The FlexStream Auxiliary Permeation Oven Module is an expansion component for the FlexStream calibration system. It is engineered to connect in series with a FlexStream Base Module, adding an independently temperature-regulated chamber for housing a Trace Source permeation tube. This configuration enables the generation of gas mixtures containing multiple analytes. Within the module, a permeation tube is heated to a precise temperature, causing the contained compound to emit vapor at a stable, certified rate. An inert carrier gas, such as nitrogen or zero air, flows through the chamber, diluting this vapor to create a specific calibration standard. The primary purpose of this auxiliary module is to provide system scalability, allowing a laboratory to assemble a custom gas standard generator capable of producing complex, multi-component mixtures for analytical calibration and instrument testing.
