Description
Labconco's FlaskScrubber is a freestanding laboratory glassware washer designed to clean a variety of items, including narrow-neck flasks that are difficult to wash manually. This particular model is configured for 115-volt, single-phase electrical service and has a cabinet depth of 27.8 inches. Its cleaning action is centered on a lower rack equipped with 36 rotating spindles and 18 holders that grip volumetric and Erlenmeyer flasks upside-down. During operation, wash and rinse solutions are pumped through these spindles, creating a jetting action that cleans the interior surfaces. The unit can heat wash water to a maximum temperature of 93°C (199°F). A 5-inch touchscreen interface allows users to select and customize wash programs. For added versatility, the washer can accommodate optional rack inserts designed to clean other laboratory items such as pipettes, graduated cylinders, vials, culture tubes, and various small tools.
