FIWE ADVANCE

Manufacturer: VELP Scientific, Inc.

SKU: FIWE ADVANCE

4.0 (1)

Description

VELP Scientific's FIWE ADVANCE is a fully automated instrument for the analysis of fiber content in food and feed samples, following established reference methods. It is capable of handling liquid, solid, and semi-solid sample types, with a reported measurement range from 0.1% to 100%. A central design principle is the use of a dedicated crucible for each sample, which remains in place through the entire sequence of digestion, washing, filtration, and drying steps. This crucible-based workflow eliminates manual sample transfers, thereby reducing the risk of fiber loss and cross-contamination. For safety and convenience, all reagents are stored internally, and the system automates the heating, dispensing, and disposal of chemicals. It features USB ports for connecting peripheral devices like balances and barcode readers to streamline data entry. Additionally, the FIWE ADVANCE can be connected to a cloud-based platform for remote monitoring of analyses, instrument control, and access to technical support services.
