Description

The Gilson FC 204 Fraction Collector is a larger-capacity system built for collecting output from liquid chromatography instruments, accommodating a range from analytical to preparative flow rates. When integrated with a pump, it provides a straightforward tubing-based filling mechanism. Its design features a flow path that can be easily sterilized, permitting use within biosafety cabinets to maintain aseptic conditions. The collector accommodates four racks, offering substantial capacity: up to 240 fractions in 13 x 100 mm tubes, 176 fractions in 18 x 180 mm tubes, or as many as eight microplates. It can be fitted with a standard 3-way diverter valve rated for flows up to 20 mL/min or a high-flow version capable of handling up to 200 mL/min. For high-throughput needs, an optional multicolumn adapter allows parallel collection from up to 18 independent channels. The unit measures 660 x 584 x 686 mm and weighs 18.16 kg.
