Description

Gilson's FC 203B is a compact fraction collector intended for low-pressure chromatography and general liquid collection tasks. It is commonly configured with a peristaltic pump to create a simple, tubing-based system for gathering sequential fractions. The unit holds a single rack, providing flexibility to collect into different labware formats. Its capacity extends to 128 samples using 12 x 75 mm test tubes, 105 samples with 13 x 100 mm tubes, or one microplate with either shallow or deep wells. Optional accessories include a diverter valve for directing flow and a multicolumn adapter, which enables the simultaneous collection of effluent from up to eight separate channels for parallel processing. The instrument has dimensions of 508 mm by 457 mm by 533 mm and a mass of 10.442 kilograms. It is designed to operate on standard 110V or 220V electrical power.
