Description
The FastGene qFYR is a real-time PCR instrument for quantitative fluorescence measurement. It is compatible with various assay types, including those utilizing probes or intercalating dyes, enabling applications in fields such as gene expression quantification and microbial detection. The thermal block functions within a range of 4 to 100 degrees Celsius and is designed for reaction volumes from 5 to 100 microliters. Optical detection is achieved through a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector, which is coupled with a Frensel lens to improve the efficiency of fluorescence signal capture. This setup facilitates the continuous monitoring of nucleic acid amplification as it occurs.
