Description
Designed for gel and blot documentation, the FastGene FAS-X GelDoc System is a compact digital imaging station. Its core component is a built-in blue/green LED transilluminator, optimized for visualizing nucleic acids stained with common fluorescent dyes. For broader applications, the system also features integrated white LED epi-illumination for surface imaging and supports an optional external white LED transilluminator plate for protein gels or stained membranes. With overall dimensions of 37.5 cm in width, 44.3 cm in depth, and 53.2 cm in height, it fits easily on a standard lab bench. This system is applicable for capturing images of DNA/RNA gels, protein gels, western blots, and bacterial colonies.
