EXTREVA™ ASE™ Accelerated Solvent Extractor
Manufacturer: Thermo Fisher Scientific
SKU: IQLAAAGADKFAMXMBNL
Description
This automated solvent extraction system integrates sample preparation steps into a single workflow, combining extraction, in-cell cleanup, and solvent evaporation. It is configured to process batches of up to 16 samples per cycle. Operational parameters include a maximum system pressure of 200 psi. For the extraction phase, the temperature can be set from 40 to 200 degrees Celsius, while the evaporation stage operates within a range of 40 to 100 degrees Celsius. A reported feature of the system is a significant reduction in solvent usage compared to traditional methods. Components are engineered to minimize background contamination from substances like per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), making it applicable for preparing samples for analysis of persistent organic pollutants and similar compounds. The instrument's physical dimensions are 100 centimeters wide, 65 centimeters deep, and 86 centimeters high.
