EVOS™ M7000 Imaging System

Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific's EVOS M7000 is a fully automated imaging system designed for advanced research applications. It is suited for techniques in neurobiology, immuno-oncology, live-cell imaging, 3D cell imaging, high-resolution tile scanning, and immunohistochemistry. The system incorporates both monochrome and color high-resolution CMOS cameras to support fluorescence and colorimetric imaging needs. Illumination is provided by a four-color LED fluorescence light source alongside transmitted light channels. Automation features include a motorized X/Y scanning stage, autofocus, and routines for automated imaging of multiwell plates. The system supports Z-stack acquisition for three-dimensional imaging and tile stitching for creating large, high-resolution images of expansive sample areas. For live-cell applications, the system can be integrated with an optional onstage incubator to maintain precise control over temperature, CO2 levels, and humidity. Advanced image analysis, including cell segmentation and quantification, is available through optional Celleste Image Analysis Software. The instrument is engineered for the rapid acquisition and processing of large imaging datasets.
