Description

INTEGRA Biosciences manufactures the EVOLVE series of multichannel manual pipettes, which are instruments for transferring liquids across multiple sample wells in a single action. These pipettes are offered in configurations with 8, 12, or 16 channels, with individual models covering specific volume ranges between 1 µl and 1250 µl. A distinctive design element is the three-dial volume adjustment mechanism, where separate dials control each digit of the set volume. This approach is intended to facilitate quicker and more ergonomic adjustments than single-dial systems. The pipettes are engineered for use with the manufacturer's Viaflo GRIPTIPS, which are designed to attach with a secure snap-fit to minimize the force required for loading and to help prevent tip loss. User comfort is addressed through customizable plunger springs; two spring sizes are provided to allow selection of the preferred plunger depression force. An optional controlled plunger spring accessory can be installed to moderate the aspiration and dispensing speed, potentially aiding in pipetting consistency. The pipette body is constructed to be lightweight and well-balanced for handling ease.
