EVOLUTE® SPE Columns and Plates

Description

The EVOLUTE line from Biotage consists of solid phase extraction columns and plates that utilize a series of polymer-based sorbents. A defining feature of these sorbents is their inherent water-wettability, which allows for direct loading of biological fluids and aqueous samples without the need for pre-wetting with organic solvents. Developed to support liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis, these sorbents are engineered to reduce matrix effects and ion suppression commonly encountered with complex samples. The product family includes several distinct chemistries: EVOLUTE Express ABN for the concurrent extraction of acidic, basic, and neutral compounds; EVOLUTE Express CX, a mixed-mode sorbent combining hydrophobic and strong cation exchange properties for basic analytes; EVOLUTE Express WCX, which offers hydrophobic and weak cation exchange functionality for strongly basic compounds; EVOLUTE Express AX, a mixed-mode hydrophobic/strong anion exchange sorbent for acidic analytes; and EVOLUTE Express WAX, a mixed-mode hydrophobic/weak anion exchange sorbent for strongly acidic analytes. These products find application in pharmaceutical bioanalysis, forensic testing, and hospital or clinical diagnostic testing.
