Eppendorf Vacufuge plus basic device incl. 48 x 1.5/2.0 ml fixed-angle rotor

Description

This package consists of the Eppendorf Vacufuge plus concentrator unit and a dedicated 48-position fixed-angle rotor. The rotor is designed for use with 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes. The device accelerates solvent evaporation by applying vacuum and centrifugal force, with an optional heat source. It reaches a maximum operating speed of 1400 rpm, corresponding to a relative centrifugal force of about 250 x g. The system is not refrigerated. With compatible rotors, it can process different sample formats, supporting up to 96 small tubes, 8 larger 15 mL conical tubes, or 2 microplates. As a basic model, it requires connection to an external laboratory vacuum pump to create the necessary low-pressure environment for operation.
