Eppendorf Vacufuge plus Basic Device, 48 x 1.5/2mL rotor

Manufacturer: Eppendorf

Description

The Eppendorf Vacufuge plus Basic Device is a compact benchtop vacuum concentrator. It is engineered to remove solvents from liquid samples through a process combining centrifugal force and vacuum. This specific configuration is supplied with a fixed-angle rotor that holds 48 standard 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes. The unit operates at a maximum rotational speed of 1400 rpm, which generates a relative centrifugal force of approximately 250 x g. It is a non-refrigerated model. According to specifications, the system can accommodate various sample formats with the appropriate rotors, with maximum capacities of 96 tubes of 1.5 mL, 8 conical tubes of 15 mL, or 2 microplates. This basic version does not include an internal vacuum pump and must be connected to an external laboratory vacuum source to function.
