Description

Eppendorf twin.tec PCR LoBind plates are 96-well plates engineered for sensitive molecular biology techniques. They utilize a twin.tec construction, which involves a separate frame and a well insert, and are offered in semi-skirted designs. The polypropylene wells are produced with LoBind surface technology, a treatment that significantly reduces the non-specific adsorption of biomolecules such as DNA and proteins. This property helps maximize sample recovery during liquid handling steps and ensures a higher effective concentration of template is available for downstream enzymatic reactions like polymerase chain reaction. The plates are applicable for standard PCR, quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR), low-volume PCR assays, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation. They are supplied sterile and PCR-clean, available in either clear or colorless versions. Standard packaging consists of 25 plates per case.
