Eppendorf Research® plus Mechanical Pipette

Description

The Eppendorf Research plus is a mechanical pipette series for accurate liquid transfer. It covers a wide operational volume, from 0.1 microliters up to 10 milliliters. To accommodate different workflows, the pipettes are offered in various formats, including single-channel and multi-channel designs with 8, 12, 16, or 24 channels, as well as fixed-volume and adjustable-volume models. A key design consideration is user comfort, achieved through a light construction and mechanisms that require minimal operating force to reduce strain during prolonged use. For volumes up to 1 mL, a spring-loaded tip cone allows for effortless tip attachment and ejection while ensuring a reliable seal. The instrument includes a user-adjustment feature for fine-tuning performance with viscous liquids or when working at different altitudes, and it can be easily reset to its original calibration. The pipette body is constructed from UV-resistant and chemically durable materials. It is fully autoclavable, and the lower section can also be sterilized separately. Designed for use with epT.I.P.S. brand tips, the 16- and 24-channel models are particularly efficient for manually processing samples in 384-well microplates.
